Since joining the Supreme Court, Justice Cuellar has participated in 27 criminal procedure cases.  He has voted for defendants’ positions in 14 of those cases and against defendants 13 times.

Only six of those cases were won by the defendants below.  Justice Cuellar voted to affirm one of those decisions and voted to reverse, in whole or in part, five times.

Twenty-one cases were lost by the defendants below.  Justice Cuellar voted to reverse, in whole or in part, in 13 of these cases and voted to affirm eight of these decisions.
