Kirk Jenkins brings a wealth of experience to his appellate practice, which focuses on antitrust and constitutional law, as well as products liability, RICO, price fixing, information sharing among competitors and class certification. In addition to handling appeals, he also regularly works with trial teams to ensure that important issues are properly presented and preserved for appellate review.  Mr. Jenkins is a pioneer in the application of data analytics to appellate decision-making and writes two analytics blogs, the California Supreme Court Review and the Illinois Supreme Court Review, as well as regularly writing for various legal publications.

Since joining the Supreme Court, Justice Corrigan has participated in 76 criminal constitutional law cases.  She has voted for defendants in 17 cases and has voted against defendants 59 times.  Between 2006 and 2009, Justice Corrigan voted for defendants four times and against defendants 24 times.  Between 2010 and 2019, she voted for defendants 13

Today, we’re beginning our review of the individual Justices’ voting records in criminal constitutional law cases.  From 1996 to 2019, Justice Chin participated in 136 such cases.  He voted for defendants in 32 cases and voted for the prosecution 104 times.  From 1996 to 1999, Justice Chin voted for defendants twice and for the prosecution
